Why is the text on my page not displaying correctly?

Usually when the text on your page is not displaying correctly or as you wish this is due to inline formatting code (inline styling) which is added with the content when it has been pasted in from either another website or a Word document.

It is always advisable to either use Ctrl+Shift+V to paste the text in or to copy the text into Notepad first and then re-copy and paste it into the editor. Either of these methods strips any formatting code from your content so the global formatting of your website is used. You can thenuse the editor formatting tools to properly format the text for your website.

This will ensure that tect remains uniform throughout your website and is particularly important to ensure that text is displayed in a readable way on the mobile version of your website.

A good indicator that inline styling is affecting the text display of your website is if you see sections of code like the below when you click the HTML view button.

"style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; padding-left: 150px;"><span style="color: #000000;">"
