The Training tool helps you complete, track, and record your learning. From here, you can access the courses assigned to you, work through the content at your own pace, and download certificates once training is complete.
In addition to assigned courses, you can also use the Certification Centre to record any training you’ve completed outside ProtectPLUS, keeping all your records together in one place.

Getting started
Your Training is split into four areas to keep you on track:
- Not started - Courses that have been assigned but not yet begun.
- In Progress - Course you've started and can continue at any time
- Completed - Courses you've successfully finished, with certificates available to download
- Expired - Courses that have expired, but can still be accessed and completed
The Certification Centre is where you can download certificates and record any additional training you've undertaken.
ProtectPlus comes with one online course available to you on "Avoiding Data Breaches".
To start the online training, select on the "Not Started Courses" section under the "Not Started" widget:
Assigned E-Learning Courses
Here is where you can keep track of any E-Learning courses that have been assigned to you. This page allows you to:
- Filter Courses by keywords
- View Course titles
- View Complete by Dates
- Check Course Status
To start an E-Learning Course, hover over the course title and select on the course title, or press the "Take Course" button on the right:
The course will open up on your device in a new window:
Follow the steps through to complete the course.
In Progress
If at any time, you need to postpone a course, you can access the course at a later date via the "In Progress Courses" link under the "In Progress" widget:
When you resume a course in Progress, you'll be asked to confirm if "You would like to resume where you left off?":
Once a course is complete, it will move to the Completed widget and a Certificate will show within your Certification Centre
Certification Centre
The Certification Centre is where you can download certificates and record any additional training you've undertaken.
When you complete an E-Learning course provided by us, the certificate is automatically added to this section. Your training record will show the following:
- Name of Course
- Training Type
- Provider
- Completion Date
- Expiration Date (If applicable)
To download a certificate, hover over a training record and select the "Download Certificate" button on the right:
The Certificate will download to your device and contain the name of the course, your name, and when the course was completed:
Add Training Records
ProtectPlus allows you to add any additional records via the Add Training Record button:
In here, you can select your Training Type:
- Accredited
- Other
- Thornfields (FPM Group)
If you select Accredited or Other, you can then enter:
- Name
- Provider
- Completion Date
- Expiration Date (If applicable)
- Certificate (via an upload)
If you select Thornfields, you can enter your Delete Code to add your Thornfields training record.
Additional training records will show on your "My Training Record", alongside any E-Learning in ProtectPlus:
Export Training Records
You can export your training records as an Excel file or as xAPI via the Export Training Record button:
