Stericycle Learning Centre is your new compliance and training system, designed to help you and your organisation stay on top of policies, training, and essential resources in one easy-to-use platform.
The "Introduction and Overview" article serves as a starting point for getting to know the Stericycle Learning Centre. It provides an overview of the platform, explains the key tools available, and demonstrates how everything fits together.
From here, you’ll be able to see what each main section - Dashboard, Resources, Training and Admin is designed to do, with links to detailed articles for further guidance.

Getting started
Stericycle Learning Centre is split into four main sections:
- Dashboard - your homepage starting point, guiding you to the most relevant tasks and updates.
- Resources - a library of files, documents and videos that you can view or download.
- Training - a dedicated area where you can complete online courses, assign e-learning to staff, download certificates, and record any additional training you've undertaken.
- Admin - Add staff and manage their permissions. You can also bulk import staff from a spreadsheet.
Dashboard
When you log in, you’ll land on the Dashboard, which gives you a quick view of what’s most important. From here, you can see:
- What should I do next? - your key actions at a glance. Clicking on each of these takes you to the specific task.
- News - updates and announcements provided by Stericycle
- Recommended for you - training, policies and resources relevant to your organisation.
Resources
The Resources section is where you can preview, download and watch resources. The resources cover a range of topics, including data protection, information security, and more.
From here, you can:
- View documents directly in your browser
- Download files such as policies, factsheets and templates
- Access videos that can be watched online or downloaded if enabled
On the relevant resource, click the View Resources button.
From here, you can browse resources by tile or tree view:
Tile View
Click on VIEW PDF to open a resource.
Tree View
Click on the title of the resource or select the Preview button on the right-hand side to open it.

Training
The training section is where you can complete online courses, track progress, and maintain up-to-date training records.
Your Training is split into four areas to keep you on track:
- Not started - Courses that have been assigned but not yet begun.
- In Progress - Courses you've started and can continue at any time
- Completed - Courses you've successfully finished, with certificates available to download
- Expired - Courses that have expired, but can still be accessed and completed
Manage e-Learning - Assign e-Learning to staff within your organisation
Certification Centre is where you can download individual certificates and record any additional training you've undertaken.

Admin
The Staff tool under the Admin section is where you can setup staff accounts and permissions.
To add new staff members, select Admin on the left, then Staff:
You have two options:
1 - Add an Individual Staff Member
2 - Bulk Import Staff
User Permissions
Staff members can have different permissions depending on their role in your organisation.
You have two types of Permissions:

Stericycle Learning Centre - System Administrator provides access to:
- Admin section (Staff, Groups and Staff Synchronisation tools)
- Training - Manage e-learning and staff certification centre

Training Permissions - Training Administrator provides access to:
- Training - Manage e-learning and staff certification centre
Important - By default, both permissions are turned off for all new users. Users will still have access to view any resources and allocated training. You only need to turn on permissions if you want staff to be able to manage staff access or manage the distribution of e-learning courses.

Navigation Bar (Top-Right)
The top-right menu provides access to key tools that help you manage your account, stay informed, and get support when needed.
- Notifications - Stay updated on new policies or training tasks
- Help (?) - Access our Help Centre for Support articles, or replay the product tour
- Profile - Manage your profile, notification settings, change your password or log out
