We are thrilled to welcome you to FPM Core. Your data, including policies, staff, user groups, and reports, has been successfully transferred from Compliance Manager to FPM Core. All staff members will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to access FPM Core.
The purpose of this article is to look at the new layout and explain where some of the features now sit. We have an overview video available below, or a brief overview guide below:
If you're looking for step-by-step articles and videos, please see our full help documentation here.
Where are my Policies?
In Compliance Manager, you would manage policies via the Document Library tool:
In FPM Core, all your policies are in Policies - All Policies
To access your Policies, go to Policies on the left and then All Policies as shown below:
Example:
A published policy in Compliance Manager will show in FPM Core within All Policies, or via the My Policies widget for users who are policy owners.
In this example, we have published the policy "3rd Party Medical Report Request". We can see that "Sun Shine" was the User Responsible, and that it was implemented on "29/05/23":

FPM Core View:
In All Policies, we can see a view of all policies in our library.
Policy Library Widgets
The Policy Library widgets give you a quick overview of your progress. You will have up to 4 widgets:
All Policies - Summary of all policies in your library
My Policies - Policies you're responsible for
Reading List - Assigned Reading
Example:
The user in our example can see the practice has 671 policies in their profile and that they are responsible (The Policy Owner) for 28 policies.
Their Reading List widget also shows 10 policies in their Reading list, with 7 being overdue:
All Policies Dashboard
Staff members who are set up as system administrators will have access to All Policies, where they can view an overview of All Policies and preview, edit, and publish policies. They can also see the policy status and any last published or new review dates, as well as see and change policy owners.
Staff members who were set up as previous Policy owners in Compliance Manager, will see these policies within their My Policies section to allow them to continue to manage these policies.
See our help guides on Policy Management here.
Reading List
In Compliance Manager, you would access your Reading list via Document Reader:
In FPM Core, your Reading List is accessible within Policy Library via the Reading List widget.
The widget gives you a tally of how many Policies you have to read. If you hover over each section, you have a total of how many are overdue, need reading and have been read.
Step by Step
In the example to the right, this user has 7 policies in their Reading List:
1 Read
5 Overdue
1 Needs Reading
View Full Reading List
Select the Reading List link at the bottom of the widget for a full list of Policies.
See our help guides on Reading Lists here.
Staff Administration
Previously in Compliance Manager, you would access and administer staff via Practice Setup -> Staff Details and Product Access sections:
In FPM Core, staff are managed on the left-hand menu via the Admin menu item.
All staff in Compliance Manager will show in your Staff section, along with any groups.
Manage Staff and Groups
Core allows you to add or bulk import staff individually. Staff can be assigned to groups to enable you to assign documents easily, and each user can have individual permissions.
We'd recommend setting up your staff members and groups.
To add new staff members, select Admin on the left, then Staff.
You have two options:
1 - Add an Individual Staff Member
2 - Bulk Import Staff
See our help guides on User Access here.
Reports
In Compliance Manager, reports were accessed via the Reports menu item:
In FPM Core, reports can be accessed via the Reports button within Policies:
Our reporting dashboard has 4 widgets:
- Staff - Reading Assignments - Keep track of who is up to date with their reading assignments.
- Policy - Staff Assignment - Keep track of each policy’s reading assignments.
- Policy Owners - Keep track of who is up to date with their policy reviews.
- Draft Policies - Keep track of policy reviews currently in progress.
Each widget has an overview and a full report available via the View Report button at the bottom of each widget.
Framework - Filter
Depending on which Frameworks you've subscribed to, you can report on All frameworks combined or select a specific Framework via the Framework filter at the top of the page.
See our help guides on Reports here.
