The recycle bin allows you to view policies that have been manually deleted.
You can restore or permanently delete if appropriate.
All policies in the recycling bin for more than 3 months will be automatically deleted.
For example, if you delete a policy that has been read by staff, you have 3 months to restore the policy from the Recycle bin. The policy will restore to all staff profiles.
You can access the recycle bin via the Recycle Bin icon in the top-right hand menu.
The recycle bin shows you:
- Title of the policy
- Who it was deleted by
- Deletion date
- Date it will be automatically deleted
To restore or permanently delete a policy, Hover in a policy row, and the Restore and Delete options show to the right of the Auto Deleted column.

After pressing Restore, a green success alert appears in the bottom-right:

After pressing Delete, A prompt will ask you to confirm. Click “Yes” or “Cancel”:
Pressing YES will show a green success alert in the bottom-right:
Pressing "CANCEL" will take you back to the Recycle Bin.
