Manually adding subscribers
Within the subscribers page you can manually add subscribers. This can be used in instances such as an existing PPG member has given permission to be added to PPG subscribers to receive emails for PPG minutes and next meeting dates.
To add an subscriber, you need to navigate to the Subscribers section of the Editor menu:
At the top of the page, you will need to click '+ Create Subscriber'
You will then need to fill out the information for the subscriber. A Newsletter subscriber only needs the following data:
- First name
- Surname
- Email Address
If you are adding a PPG subscriber you will need to fill out additional information:
- Telephone
- Postcode
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Age Range
- Ethnicity
- Regularity
Once the information has been filled out, click Save. This will add them to the Subscribers list under the relevant subscriber type.
Editing existing subscribers
If an existing subscriber has requested their data to be updated, you can change the information within the subscriber section within the editor menu.
First you can search the patient you are looking for by putting their name into the search box. You then need to click the pencil icon in the last column.
You will then see all their existing subscriber information. You will need to update the relevant box and then click Save.
Removing subscribers
There are 3 different ways in which you can remove subscribers.
Delete individual subscribers
To individually delete a subscriber, you can use the search function to find them and click the trashcan icon next in the final column:
You will have a prompt to confirm you would like to delete the subscriber, click Yes and the subscriber will be removed.
Delete numerous subscribers
To delete numerous subscribers, you need to click the tick box next to all the names you'd like to remove. Once these are ticked, a 'Delete' option will show up next to '+ Create Subscriber'. After clicking delete, you will have a pop up showing the number of subscribers selected to confirm you'd like to go ahead with deleting the subscribers. Choose 'Yes' and all selected subscribers will be removed.
Delete all subscriber data
In cases where practices need to remove all subscriber data, there will be a bulk delete option. You will have the option to select all subscribers and delete all the data. This will be introduced in a future update.
